Terry Browett, President, and his wife have 3 children attending Christian Heritage School. Terry was born and raised in Brandon and works full time as a paramedic/fire fighter with the City for the past 17 years. He has been a board member since April of 2007 and is in his second year as board president. In his free time, other than volunteering with the school, Terry enjoys being with family and building construction as a hobby. Terry enjoys the leadership of the staff and passion in their teachings of the Kingdom of Jesus.
Bryce Neufeld, Vice-President, and his wife have two sons. Their third child is due in early November. Bryce is a Student Advisor/Supervisor for Manitoba Student Aid for the Province of Manitoba. He has been on the Board since November of 2010. In addition to his role as Vice-President, he is the chair of the Building Expansion Committee. He is very excited for the future of CHS and is glad to be a part of what God has planned for the school.
Mark Rodgers, Treasurer, and his wife have four wonderful children, three of whom are still at CHS. They also own Pro Janitorial Inc. and Keystone Carpet Care. Previous to this he worked as a Mechanical Engineer for 20 years. Mark and Tracey attend Bethel Christian Assembly. They have a passion to see other reach their goals in life and grow in the knowledge of Jesus. They are passionate about seeing Christian Heritage School be a place where Children can grow up to be leaders in society bringing Kingdom Values to Earth, and seeing the kids being confident in who God made them to be. Mark is in his second year of serving on the board of CHS and he is currently the Treasurer. Mark is also Chair for the Tuition Assistance Committee. In the past Mark has lead youth, and young adult groups, and has served in numerous positions. At present Mark is on the executive for the men's ministry at Bethel and leads a home group in his home. In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time at the lake with his family, quading or snowmobiling with the guys, or just going for coffee with a friend.
Rena Booth-Navid, Secretary, and her husband have three boys who attend CHS. Rena was born and raised in Brandon. In her teen years she traveled the world in way of missions for Jesus capturing knowledge of different cultures and the Father’s heart. She obtained her Degree in Nursing from the University of Manitoba in 1999. She has worked in the hospital as well as the community. Currently she works at Hillcrest Personal Care Home as a Registered Nurse. She also owns and operates a Medical Advocacy Service in the Westman in which she advocates for others with their medical needs. She has been a board member since May of 2009, and has chaired the Banquet committee and the Educational Advisory Committee for the past two years. In her free time Rena is involved with running a household, raising her three boys and studying the revelation of God’s word. She volunteers countless hours and enjoys the fellowship of the CHS community while serving others. She is a children’s pastor at the Brandon Vineyard where she and Richard have attended for the past twelve years. Her vision is to equip children in the ways of the Lord, to pour out the Love of the Father and to sit at the feet of Jesus.
Gerry Groening is beginning his second year on the board at CHS. He and his wife have 3 children, and they attend McDiarmid Drive Alliance Church. He has a Business Admin Diploma from ACC, and BGS and Bachelor of Education Degrees from BU. Gerry has farmed, trucked long distance, taught and subbed, but for the last 15 years he has managed their rental properties located within Brandon. He has served on various boards, including many in church (Richmond Park MB), Family Life Network, and recently, 6 years as chairman of Turtle Mountain Bible Camp. Within the CHS Board, he currently is in charge of Physical Resources, and Promotions. Gerry & Deb choose to send their children to CHS because they know the Christian values they embrace are re-enforced within the environment that teachers, staff, and the board create there.
Michael Rosumowitsch It’s the second year for Michael being on the board at CHS. At home Michael is surrounded by his wife and three loving daughers, two of whom attend CHS. Michael finished his apprenticeship in Car Mechanics in 1996, and graduated as Mechanical Engineer in Cologne (Germany) in 2000. He worked as development engineer for German Automotive and Aircraft Industry until 2008 when the family found their new home in Brandon in friendly Manitoba. Since then Michael is employed by Cancade as an engineer. The Rosumowitsch family is attending Faith Fellowship Baptist church, which became their family far away from the homeland. Michael has many different hobbies and interests; one of them is his work, which he loves. But there is nothing that he enjoys more than spending time with his girls. Michael and Edith decided to send their kids to CHS to give them a good, solid base to be prepared for their future lives. |
