This year our students had the opportunity to write speeches and present them in front of their peers. Grade 5-8 participated in this event. It was a great success. The students put a lot of thought and work into their speeches and it paid off. The students presented their speeches in front of their own classmates first. They were then judged and given a score. The highest scoring students were then chosen to present their speeches to the grades 4-8. There were additional judges brought in to make a final ruling on the winners.
